Robbesscheier and Cornelyshaff


  Excursion by horse-drawn carriage

See the superb Our nature reserve by horse-drawn carriage. Various routes are available, from the trip from Drauffelt railway station to the “A Robbesscheier” open-air museum in Munshausen up to a day-long excursion by horse-drawn carriage.

Special arrangements can be for individual tours and events (weddings, etc.).

Constant efforts have been made to facilitate the accommodation of wheelchairs and children’s pushchairs. The horse-drawn carriages can take up to three wheelchairs at a time, allowing users to experience this unique adventure.

Daily tours through the “A Robbesscheier” open-air museum also give you the chance to decide on the spur of the moment.

  Group information

Prices:
  • Transport from Drauffelt railway station to Munshausen is available for € 50 per horse-drawn carriage one way and € 80 return.
  • The one-day hike (Drauffelt railway station – Wilwerwiltz – Pintsch – Munshausen – Drauffelt) with lunch and a visit to the “A Robbesscheier” open-air museum is available for € 55 per person.

  The Vallee de l’Our brasserie

Before the eyes of visitors, beer is brewed at Cornelyshaff using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients: malt, hops and, depending on the type of beer, various sorts of cereals.

The beer is neither filtered nor pasteurised nor stabilised. This means that it is possible to safeguard the healthiest ingredients such as the vitamins or minerals.

Thanks to modern technical equipment, the basic ingredients and energy are used as efficiently as possible and promote optimal quality in general. After maturing, the beers are bottled, stored in barrels or savoured immediately under the best possible conditions.

St. Hubert old market "Munzer Haupeschmaart"


On the first Sunday after 3rd november.

Old market in this Ardennes village, dating back to the 17th century. Exhibition of agricultural machinery, arts and carfts, local products, livestock market, music and folklore.
