Heinerscheid, Lieler, Kalborn, Fischbach, Grindhausen and Hupperdange. Heinerscheid and Lieler are two well-known highland villages on a plateau 600 feet above the lovely and romantic valleys of the Upper-Our and the Clerve. Only a few kilometres away the rural village of Kalborn. Extensive and well marked walks with rest benches and picnic places.

  • Monument in honour of the 6th US Armored Division in Heinerscheid.
  • Monument dedicated to the United Europe at 2 km ("3 Borders").
  • River bathing and fishing in the Our (licence at the tourist office, phone +352 99 88 43).
  • Thematic trails "Nat'OUR": Start at the European monument Lieler/Ouren (Nat'OUR-Route 1, 12 km) and in Tintesmühle (Nat'OUR-Route 2, 19 km).

Nature Park Our

The Nature Park of ‘Our’, officially created in 2005, is located in the North-East of Luxembourg and has a common border with Germany and Belgium.

11 districts with 14,000 inhabitants and a total area of 305 km create a platform for the sustainable development of the region. Other objectives relate to economic development in harmony with the natural wealth of the region and the quality of life of its inhabitants.

In this rural area, agriculture has always played an important role. Several initiatives aimed at improving income and agricultural diversification been developed.
