The administrative centre of the local authority area of the same name, which includes the villages of Eppeldorf, Folkendange and Stegen.  Ermsdorf is situated midway between the Mullerthal and the Middle Sure Valley, and lies out in the country at the crossroads of the Diekirch-Ettelbruck road and the road through Reisdorf, Beaufort and Larochette.

The churches of Eppeldorf, Ermsdorf and Stegen are worth a visit.

Four newly laid-out and marked footpaths and a walking route starting from a location where you park your car enable visitors to discover a picturesque landscape with panoramic viewpoints (regional map on sale at the Local Authority Administration in Ermsdorf).


 Camping Neumühle (Ermsdorf)

The European footpath E2 from Amsterdam-Nice starting in Bettendorf crosses the area (Keiwelbaach-Eppeldorf-Beaufort).

You can join cycle paths in Ettelbruck, Diekirch, Reisdorf and Medernach. The "Neimillen" campsite in Ermsdorf, the "Hessemillen" self-catering cottage in Eppeldorf and rooms in guest houses in Stegen. Picnic areas in Stegen and Ermsdorf.
