A locality situated in a deep and narrow valley beside the river Clerve in the inmidst of the Ardennes. The Benedictine Abbey of St. Maurice and St. Maur, built in 1910 in romanesque-burgundian style, dominates the valley.

Various historical monuments. In the neighbourhood are some churches (Munshausen, Hachiville, etc.) whose architecture, furnishings and frescoes are most interesting.
