Guided tours in Luxembourg city

Luxembourg is a city of myriad faces – not only in the figurative sense. The museums teem with the portraits of the renowned personalities determining the history of the millenary fortress, be it the fortress builder Vauban or the Spanish Governor Peter Ernst von Mansfeld. Faces also moulded the cultural scene, if you merely think of the expressive clown or children’s faces of Joseph Kutter, the most well-known painter of the Grand Duchy.

Whoever strolls across the Old Town, the Gardens or the modern Kirchberg Plateau, will invariably encounter further faces on bust, sculptures or memorial stones: they remind you of Goethe, the writer, Robert Schuman, the “father of Europe” and the merry musicians of the kermesse pageant “Hämmelsmarsch”.

Guided Tours trough the Ardennes

High plains with extensive fields, slate rocks and steep sloping valleys which display the most glorious colours in autumn and are strewn with gorse in spring: that is the view which can be expected from the Luxembourg Ardennes.
All around the “Nordstad”, the gateway to the Ardennes, with the towns and villages along the Sûre, the Wark and the Alzette, the hiker discovers the unique interplay between geology and nature alongside culture and history. Numerous castles and palaces transport you to another world.
The Luxembourg Ardennes: also the region of nature parks, of the lake of the Upper-Sûre and of the Our valley.

This extremely varied area, from the “Nordstad” (Diekirch, Ettelbruck) region of the Luxembourg Ardennes, also called “Oesling“, poses a rare challenge for nature lovers, mountain bikers, Nordic walkers and above all for ramblers.

With its numerous well-signposted local, national and international rambling paths, it can justifiably be called a true ramblers’ paradise.

Guided Tours trough the region Moselle

You can enjoy the culinary delights: regional products such as cheese, honey and liqueurs can be bought in the markets. And the numerous restaurants and cafés offer both regional and international specialities.
Appealing,  unrestricted and stress-free – the Moselle valley stimulates the senses, connects people of different nationalities and enables you to switch off from everyday life.

Most appealing of all are the vintage quality Moselle wines, best when accompanying fried fish in one of the renowned restaurants along the picturesque wine village route.

The Romans saw it as a unrestricted region covered with vines, influenced by the meanderings of the Moselle. Here, with its inter-connecting bridges, you will find the birthplace of the “Schengen area“.

Ambling stress-free along narrow paths and through narrow alleys, or discovering the Mosel area on a boat trip, is more relaxing than travelling on the beaten track.
